After School

* Pottery Classes -(Please see enrollment form for times and prices) The children will work with low-firing clay to make a variety of projects. All the projects are done through hand-building. Some of the ideas include: bowls, ornaments, handprints, plaques, candleholders, etc. The children will glaze their own pottery, and all the projects will be kiln fired.

* Cooking Classes - (Please see enrollment form for times and prices) The children learn the basics of cooking through hands-on recipe preparation. Concepts such as measuring, mixing, following a recipe, and learning cooking terms (bake, boil, fry, whisk etc.) will be introduced. The children will prepare/complete one cooking project for each class. Older children will learn how to read a recipe and how to follow measurements. A perfect opportunity for our budding chefs!

Bible Classes - This is a free class! It is open to students, alumni, siblings and friends of all ages. It will be held on Tuesdays, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. twice a month. See monthly newsletter for details.

Celebrate your Birthday the Montessori Way! - This after school event is available as an option for your child's birthday party. It includes painting pottery, sharing a timeline, listening to a story, walking around the sun, and learning a lesson in grace and courtesy. Ask for an enrollment form for more details!

*Pottery & Cooking classes are included in the Kindergarten and Elementary curriculums. These classes are optional for the primary class students.
